Less than a mile from Todmorden town centre and 4 miles from the picturesque town of Hebden BridgeShoebroad Barn is the perfect backdrop for wedding photos, an ideal location for a birthday, with friends or even a break from the world where you can do as much or as little as you like.



We have another wedding party this weekend, so let’s hope the weather is kind for the photographers. Then we have 2 birthday groups joining us; one next weekend and a 30th at the end of the month.  Three cheers to the bride and groom and the respective birthday clans, we’re sure you’ll have a day to remember.

We still have New Year available but Christmas is booked as usual & we are taking bookings for next year all ready.

What’s On in September?

Event: Todmorden’s annual Food and Drink Festival.

Location: Tomorden’s Pollination Square

Date: 10th September 2016

With 26 food stalls and 31 arts and craft stalls this event promised to

cater for every taste bud.  New attractions for 2016 include a range of children’s rides, a massive flower show and classic cars.

Event: Incredible Edible harvest Festival 2016

Location: Tomorden’s Pollination Square

Date: Sun Sep 18 From: 12:00 To: 16:00

A day of fun with stalls, dance music and of course… food!  This year we are joined by Eureka the National Children’s museum so granted; smiles all round!

A piece of history

Event: Town hall tour (part of the Halifax Heritage festival)

Location: Please meet at the heritage centre

Date: 11th September 11am to 3pm

Cost: Free half hour tours

Inside this magnificent grade one listed building boasts a ballroom that spans the length of the building, a court room and grand stair case.  On the outside there is the iconic pediment which is so rich in history.

Free ‘Taster Tours’ are also available on the first Sunday the month at 2pm.
